Ma’ayanot-Project Ezrah Genius Bar Takes Off

At the Genius Bar, a “reverse mentorship” program jointly sponsored by Project Ezrah and Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls, which took place on three Wednesdays in March, women eager to learn technology skills were paired with Ma’ayanot student mentors who worked one-on-one to help the women achieve their goals.

Ma’ayanot STEAM Talks and Maker Faire Encourage Students to Shoot for the Moon

Ma’ayanot STEAM Talks featured six highly successful women in STEAM careers. The event, which is modeled after Ted Talks, invited each speaker to share her passion about her career for seven minutes. It was a morning filled with excitement and energy (in addition to dancing to rocking music by DJ Isaac Chalou) as the women shared their challenges and accomplishments. STEAM Talks were followed by a hands-on Maker Faire.

Ma’ayanot Rapids Prepare to Run for Team Shalva

Several students from Ma’ayanot spent a good part of their yeshiva vacation training for the Jerusalem Marathon, where they will represent Team Shalva on March 17. This is the third year that the school will be running to support Shalva, the Israel Association for the Care and Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities.

Ma’ayanot Hosts Annual Day of Big Ideas

On Monday, January 2, more than 100 parents, grandparents, students, alumnae, and members of the community began the new year by exploring a wide array of topics presented by Ma’ayanot’s dynamic faculty at the school’s Annual Day of Big Ideas. The keynote address was presented by Dr. Leah Knapp, a clinical psychologist and teacher of Psychology at Ma’ayanot.
